DAY 1
PM: Arrival to the Åland Islands. The capital, Mariehamn, can be reached either by a short flight from Stockholm or Helsinki, or by cruise ship from Stockholm or Turku (Finland).
Lunch on-board cruise ship or in Mariehamn.
Brief sightseeing tour in Mariehamn, then a short bus transfer to your accommodation on the northern coast of the main island.
Evening: Time to relax. Enjoy a real Finnish sauna, followed by a dip in the warm water pools or in the sea itself. Round the evening off with delicious archipelago dinner at the hotel.
DAY 2
AM: Take inspiration from the open natural surroundings, with a pre-meeting Yoga session on the rocks overlooking the sea.
Morning meeting and lunch at the hotel.
Coffee and cake buffet in the afternoon, sitting on the terrace overlooking the sea.
PM: As an activity between or post-meeting sessions, choose from a range of possibilities all embracing the wonderful local nature. Possibilities include Nordic walking, sea kayaking, or a boat trip with coffee break on a private island.
Evening: Your choice of memorable Farewell Dinner: the freshest Archipelago ingredients in a stylish local restaurant owned by a celebrity chef, including apple wines and liqueurs made on-site; or, a gourmet feast on a private island in the atmosphere of countryside Åland; or dinner on-board a traditional sailing ship
as it sails through the archipelago.
DAY 3:
AM: Visit a medieval castle
before a lunch cruise in search of local seals.
PM: Departure by flights or by cruise – or combine your stay with a visit to Stockholm, historic Turku or Helsinki.
